Sprint 1 of The Motorverse Complete - Winners Announced

The Motorverse has concluded Sprint 1 of their Zealy quests. A total of 25 winners were announced, with prizes ranging from Torque Squad NFTS, to Torque Drift 2 cars and parts, as well as Revv Racing cars.

If you didn’t make the cut, or missed out entirely, all hope is not lost. A new sprint season is starting soon. Keep an eye on the Motorverse X account and their Discord server to jump into the action.

$REVV is Ripping: What’s Down the Road for the Token?

The Motorverse ecosystem is really beginning to heat up since Animoca Brands announced that they are bringing all of their automotive properties under one umbrella. That excitement can be seen in the recent price action of their token, $REVV.

In the last seven days, the token price surged from a low of $0.017 up to a high of $0.26. That’s a move of roughly 52%. It has since settled into a consolidation pattern around the $0.023 mark.

Where it gets really interesting is when you zoom out. The first thing you’ll see is a range high of $0.0339. Once it breaches that level there is absolutely ZERO resistance all the way up to the April 1, 2022 high of $0.12!

However, the ATH for $REVV is all the way up at $0.78, back on March 29, 2021. Now, when taking into consideration the burgeoning bull market, the Animoca-backed Motorverse, and the dominance of the GameFi narrative in the coming cycle, a perfect storm is brewing that could see $REVV once again test its ATH. (psst, that 34x from current levels)

One thing to keep in mind is there are a lot of $REVV holders that are underwater on their holdings and will look to break even or take profits as the token works its way back up. So expect some significant pull-backs on the way, and maybe even use them to fill your bags if you are a true believer like me.

ApeCoin F1 Sponsorship Proposal Set to Pass

In the 12th edition of the Daily DRVN newsletter I reported that the ApeCoin DAO would soon be voting on a proposal to sponsor the [redacted] F1 team! AIP-406.

Well, the voting period is upon us. It opened on March 7 and ends in 7 days, on the 20th. However, the results already indicate a strong approval for the AIP, with a current tally of 91.99% in favor, and a measly 8.01% opposed to the proposal.

Odds are looking good that we will see one of the major F1 teams adorn their livery and race suites with the ApeCoin logo. While a nice boost to the community, and the Web3 ecosystem as a whole, a logo placement is really just the top of the sponsorship iceberg.

I read the full contents of AIP-406 and listened to their 2-hour X space to digest the full scope of what the partnership will entails. It was quite interesting, and I suggest reading the proposal in its entirety.

Here are the cliffs notes:

  • The team finished in the top 6 of the 2023 constructor’s championship

  • The team approached the ApeCoin DAO about the sponsorship, not the other way around

  • The ApeCoin logo would be prominently displayed on the rear-lower engine cover of the car

  • The team already has a Web3 presence, and possibly at least one crypto sponsor

  • The deal is for a 2 year sponsorship costing €5,125,000

  • The partnership will result in limited edition merch, VIP tickets, events and activations, and collaborative digital collectibles for the ApeCoin community

Considering that information, I have my theories on which team they are in talks with, but maybe I will save that for the feature article.

Blast Auto Club Collection Reveal

The first automotive brand on the Blast network, BAC had a successful mint of their Genesis Runner collection last week. As of today, the full collection will be revealed and we will finally get a look at the assets for their coming automotive web3 game.

Much of their project has been under wraps, only teasing bits and pieces of what’s to come. This strategy has appeared to work as they had no problem minting out and the floor has remained strong at 0.44 ETH.

By the time you read this, the reveal should have commenced which will inevitably kick up a flurry of trading activity. Grab some popcorn and check out the Blast Auto Club action in real time.
