It’s time for your weekly dose of car culture, served hot with just enough kick to jolt you out of bed and into the driver’s seat.
In this issue we’re bringing you the nostalgic vibes, but updated for the 21st century, with an AE86 restomod offered by legendary Toyota tuner, TOM’S, a bit of old-school wisdom fit for the digital age, a look back at Toyota’s WEC dominance, Formula E’s playable history lesson, and Nissan’s plan to reignite the passion by doubling down on what put them on the map.

📢 DRVN Labo Update

Before we dive in, we are excited to share what we’ve shipped in the past week.
DRVNVHCLS.xyz v2
The entry point for our app, drvnvhcls.xyz is now home to a host of new features we are piloting for the wider car culture. We’re beta testing a system for enthusiasts to discover, list, and manage car meets, shows, and events. Soon we will be adding support for car clubs and vendors as well—Then unifying the features directly into the main app.
This will become the magnet attracting newcomers to the platform, where they will be introduced to the $BSTR token, perform their very first onchain transactions, and get exposure to our community-owned/managed real-world automotive asset platform.
We invite you to share it with fellow car lovers in your life, put it to good use, and provide feedback to make it the ultimate community building resource.
DRVNVHCLS.app Quality of Life Improvements
Our main app got some love too, with a slew of updates. The one that’s most relevant to you, our users is the improved sign up/login flow. New users with little-to-no web3 experience will now be able to easily create a wallet with just an email address—And experienced users have many more wallet connections to choose from.

Trade, Stake, and Earn $BSTR on Hydrex.fi
We have partnered with Hydrex as our official liquidity partner. Participants will now be able to trade $BSTR on two exchanges (with all in-app swaps routing to offer the best price).
But the really exciting part is the ability to put your $BSTR to work, earning rewards for contributing to the liquidity pool, and stacking even more $BSTR tokens by voting for the platform to direct more rewards to LP providers.
