We know you love wrenching, tinkering, and tuning. What you may not know is that your handiwork can be applied to building apps too. No coding- knowledge required!
To prove it, we’ve partnered with Ohara AI, the latest and greatest AI app builder that’s specially trained to create web3 mini apps, for a 1-week automotive app challenge.
Starting today, Thursday September 11 we’re kicking off a mini app building competition for the best car culture or automotive themed app. They’re throwing in $1,000 dollars to fund the app with the most votes, and we’re throwing in $250 in $BSTR to the best app that incorporates our token.
Ever had an idea for an app you wish existed but quickly chucked the thought in the bin because you didn’t have the chops? Those days are over.
With their simple prompt-to-code platform you can go from idea to prototype, to deployed app faster than you can change an alternator.
Rules
Build a fun, engaging, and/or useful mini app for car enthusiasts.
It doesn’t need to be the next Netflix or Amazon. It just needs to be enjoyable.
Road-ready apps need to be published by Thursday, September 18.
The apps with the most upvotes on Ohara.ai and the best use-case for $BSTR token win.

What is a mini app?
It’s kinda like a normal app, but mini 🤏 Meaning, it serves one purpose. Like a foot-pound to Newton meter converter. Or an F1 Championship points tracker. Heck, it could just be a button that makes cool turbo noises. Shwww stustustu! |
What can you do with your mini app?
So, you have a great idea and take a couple evenings to spin it up. When you’re done you can deploy it as a web app or launch it directly to the Base app and Farcaster to go viral. The cool part is every vote equals dollars that go to funding your app via its very own token. Prizes
Grand Prize
As mentioned, the best app, by way of up votes will win $1K in funding to motivate you to keep building.
This comes in the form of an investment in your token, which will increase the value and trading volume. Considering you, as the developer get 10% of the token supply and earn on every trade made, that’s a pretty sweet deal.
Bonus Prize
We’re throwing more fuel on the fire by offering $250 in BSTR tokens to our favorite app that incorporates $BSTR as part of the experience.
Maybe users buy or spend $BSTR to get credits to use the app. Or they wager $BSTR against other players in a game of speed or knowledge.
The mini app selected for this won’t necessarily be the same as the Grand Prize. But, if you decide to aim to sweep both and nail it, that’s a lotta cheddar.
Mega Bonus Grand Prize
The best mini app(s) will also get ongoing support from DRVN Labo to continue development and possibly be integrated into the main DRVN/VHCLS app.
On top of that, we may incorporate your app token into our ecosystem as a craftable* asset used to generate new in-app collectible and experiences, creating utility for your token for the long term.

😎 Buster Me: Upload a picture of any person and have AI slap a pair for Buster’s pixel meme shades on. Then share it to socials.
