$BSTR Gets a Rebuild — and This Time, It’s Tuned for the Culture

You ever rebuild something so well it makes the original feel like a prototype? That’s what we’ve done with $BSTR. It’s back on the block, fully tuned and street-ready, with a smarter engine under the hood and a new purpose in its tank.

We’re not just relaunching a token — we’re laying pavement for a more decentralized, culture-driven car scene. One where your votes shape the shared garage and your reputation holds real weight.

That’s why we’re coining a new term and calling it what it really is: a StreetCred Coin. A balanced blend of culture coin and governance token, with copious amounts of grip — built to reward loyalty, signal reputation, and put real power in the hands of the people who show up and rep the lifestyle IRL, online, and onchain.

And on June 11, this ride officially leaves the garage.

🔧 Why Relaunch?

The $BSTR token (pronounced “buster”) has been rebuilt from the ground up to better reflect what we’re building — and who we’re building it for.

We made important improvements to the smart contract, updated the tokenomics, and restructured how the system works so it’s more aligned with our long-term vision. That includes giving the community more tools to participate, more reasons to stay involved, and more confidence in how the project moves forward.

To help us do that right, we brought in Assure DeFi — one of the most respected launch partners in the space. They’ve handled our smart contract auditing, KYC, and are advising on every step of the rollout. If you’ve followed projects like Based Monsta’s migration to Base, you’ve already seen what they’re capable of.

Last but not least, we have timed this relaunch to ride the positive market momentum allowing us to generate the trading volume and revenue needed to fuel our development and add more fractionalized vehicles to the community-owned collection.

This relaunch sets the tone for everything that comes next.

🚀 Key Launch Details

The new $BSTR token goes live on Wednesday, June 11 via a fair launch on Uniswap. No presale, no whitelist, no insider pricing — just a clean start with open access from day one.

A snapshot of current holders has been taken ahead of launch and trading of the current token has officially ended. This will allow us to migrate liquidity and ensure that existing holders receive a 1:1 airdrop of the new token as soon as it hits the market.

A second airdrop will follow shortly after, rewarding those who earn an allocation through pre-launch quests, contests, and community challenges.

You’ll also be able to buy $BSTR directly inside the DRVN/VHCLS app — using either crypto or fiat. That’s part of our commitment to making this token not just tradable, but truly usable in everyday interactions across the DRVN Labo ecosystem.

🧰 New Utility

$BSTR is evolving into something more functional, more flexible, and more reflective of the community behind it.

At its core, $BSTR now serves three main purposes:

1. Governance – Holders can vote on proposals that shape the future of the project: from which cars to acquire, to how the budget is allocated, to which community-led initiatives get funded. To submit proposals, you'll need to hold at least 0.5% of the total supply or a Founders Club Key NFT.
   For this, we have partnered with Decent DAO to give our community unrivaled transparency and control through the industry leading DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) interface.

2. Rewards/Access – Members will have various opportunities to earn $BSTR in-app, within our community, and on social media for simply engaging and adding value. More on this below.
   Stacking tokens isn’t just for the clout. The more you hold the higher your role you will earn in the app. These roles will unlock new features and benefits. Not least, the ability to get access to newly fractionalized cars before anyone else.

3. Spending Power – $BSTR will be spendable across the DRVN Labo ecosystem for things like:

   • Exclusive digital collectibles (PFPs, garages, accessories)

   • Limited edition DRVN Labo merch

   • AI expert-mechanic chatbot credits

   • Items in upcoming racing in-app mini-games

Looking ahead, we’re building toward real-world utility too. That includes tipping your favorite cars at shows, purchasing products/services and redeeming discounts at partnered brands, and using $BSTR as a form of currency across the broader car culture.
